So last Tuesday I went to a professional and found out that my AEM pulley kit on my alternator was my problem. I was turning my good alternator only once when it should have been turning three times!! Sure its good for when you’re over 3k rpm alot (racing) but for city driving, not so good. So I had to pay only $213 instead of around $250. I had to return my “new” alternator and buy an OEM Honda pulley, $78, and a new alternator belt, $35,though. After replacing this my lights don’t dim any more when I come to a stop or sit idle. So all is well now for me and my little black sports car

Anyone know how to remove/install a h22 alternator? I have bought a replacement for $150 already but my friends and I have no idea how to get to it. The power steering pump and pulley is in the way so I may have to get at it by taking off this or trying to get at it from the bottom but I have no lift. I’m tring to find the cheapest way to do this without having to goto a garage and having to pay an arm and a leg to get this done. So for now I have no car and it really sucks.

Third time I got pulled over today. I was coming outta IVY Tech parking lot going the quicker way (people always take the closest route) because there is no stop sign. when I get to the T where the stop sign is I “speed up” in order to make a little noise from my car to warn the stop sign people that I’m coming and once I get up to that point I see the SUV officer. Crap. He immediately he turns his lights on and gets behind me as I go past him. Hooray, I say to myself, just what I need. I do the whole thing about me having a Ohio licence and having “just moved” (I have lived in Richmond for over a year now). He lets me off with a warning and told me he could have charged me with reckless driving and speeding and that I could have gone to jail. So no speeding in parking lots for me any more. Highway from now on, lol. I don’t think he had any authority in that parking lot any way, even though the speed limit was posted. He was there to just scare people.

I got a 173, but I have a life. This must have been made up by some twelve year old kid who only has seen 107 of the movies listed in his life time. Some are truely classics and if you haven’t seen them you have no life. Average is probably around 175 anyway.

So I went to Ohio yesterday with some of my friends to watch “Night at the Museum” (the only thing that looked good) and eat some chicken at Buffalo Wild Wings and my battery died. It died because I was blasting my music in Bdub’s parking lot while we changed Jason’s flat tire that he drove on the highway from Huber Heights, lol. He said “I thought it felt weird.” So after we got the donut tire on we drove to the speedway down the street because I thought the tire looked a little under inflated. It only had 11psi the first time I checked it and 58.3psi when we left. So yesterday was kind of an adventure. On another note I can get my car to 143mph. New record for me but I can do better. 150mph is in my sights sometime when it dries up here in the summer.

So far I have been in 2, lost the first one against a dual exhaust CRX with mods, but today I beat a V6 Pontiac. It was great, I only acknowledged their presence with a rev of my engine but never once looked at them once. Well I did when we weaved though traffic to reach the next red light. When we did, I didn’t even look then. As the light turned green I could hear his tires scream as they left the line while mine were quieter but still laid the rubber. I got an entire car link in front of them and had to put the brakes on because I was stuck behind a tractor at the next light. Of all times for there to be a tractor, today had to be the day. Oh well, that driver knew who was faster.

Cuisin in my car is alot of fun now. Now I can back up my car’s sound with speed. Tonight was the first time I got challenged by a Camro. Now sure if it was a V8 or V6 but I can take the V6. Maybe I should go back to the mall to see if he is still there, hehe. Anyway I have to goto Meijer tonight to stock some pizzas.
