  • My car is sort of fixed now. I got it back with the roof completely shut but nonfunctioning, and the exhaust is tie back under the car. One bad thing I found out was the right rear caliper's seal is broken and maybe able to be replaced by the junked 300D in the back of the shop that I go to, if it hasn't seized up over the years. So if I want to get all of these things fixed it will cost more than $30 that it cost to close the roof. The moon roof problem is that the cable that closes and opens it was worn at the end and they took it out. So if I find another cable out of another w123 (body number) I can replace it myself. Starting to think this car is a big hassle. However it still runs, though it may be slow. I may get the turbo taken out of the junk car and put it in mine if it will be cost worthy, meaning cheap.

  • The Benz is still in the shop. I did take it in on Monday only to find it was going to be worked on Tuesday. Tuesday I got a call saying they needed the Master key to get into the trunk to check out the motor for the moon roof. I couldn't get a ride to the garage so my dad gave me permission to drive the Cadillac. I called today to see if I could pick it up today because my dad and I were out looking for another place to live other than this one bedroom apartment. I found out that they "didn't have time" to work on it today. Hooray. Well I hope they are finished before noon tomorrow because I work at one at LoBill's. Incase they don't come through I get to drive the Cadillac again. I guess its a win-win tomorrow. By the way tomorrow is the 4.5 hours I get for the whole week from LoBill's. Also found out that Pac-Sun Pays close to minimum wage, $5.50 per hour. I hope congress passes that new bill that brings minimum wage up to $7.25. That would be sweet and its about time. Almost ten years since it has be changed. Anyway, off to bed for me. Well, more of a climb.
