  • Happy Easter

So I am back. I have had a bad 2 weeks. First my computer dies on me and I have to reinstall windows and my cars dies on me too. I was driving around to my uncles house and I had to go up a hill to get there. It bogged down like it always does because it is loosing compression but once I reached the top it lost all power. I coasted to the side of the road and flipped on my emergency lights. Just as I did a man coming back from his job stopped. He offered to drive me the rest of the way to my uncles house. Once there I told my grandpa and my uncle what happened and they came to my rescue. My grandpa drove my uncle's truck to the spot where my car was on the side of the road and hooked-up the tow cable to both vehicles and off we went. Back at my uncles farm we put some diesel in for some odd reason it started! But the brake was weird and it has gone back to its usual way of shifting, hard, and one of its fuel pumps may have weakened to a point of not functioning at a level of usefulness. I now have to keep it over half a tank for it to have enough pressure to get to the fuel injectors. And today on of my old neighbors drove by our house yelling that I was driving recklessly down my street. How rude. He thought that wow, his car is really loud so he must be speeding, when I wasn't. He may have even called the cops on me, lol. Little does he know that my old car is a diesel and will always be loud. At least I did get the exhaust fix to where it isn't deafening. The cops never showed up, but the did drive to that guy house. There was a speed trap on the way back to my dad's place but I turned to take the hi way instead of 40.

    That's my rant for now,

  • Everyone seems so eager to see my 1982 Mercedes. But I am waiting for a day for it not to rain and for my computer to cooperate.

Today was one of the last days of its life. It was really struggling to maintain speed. Highway use maybe out of the question until I get it looked at. The last bill was $200. My bank account is slowly running dry. I do have one thing to look forward to...a vacation. Almost a month from now I am taking a vacation to Phoenix and Las Vegas. No gambling for me until I turn 21. For now I can just be a spectator. I hope when I get back my car will start.

    Sincerely,

  • Update with nimrod8560

I did pass my driver's exam the first time on the 23rd and tomorrow I will be getting the new tags for my Benz. I will be updating more hopefully because I will be living with my dad in Indiana and I'll be paying to have Internet supplied to our apartment. I will be working in LoBill's as a cashier there too to pay for insurance and other expenses that my come up. I will not be returning to college because my financial aid will not cover my housing bill. I maybe going to Indiana East for some core classes out of the way but that is not until I get established in my new job.

Christmas was weird without my dad not being there. We did get to spend Christmas with my mom's parents for the first time in 7 or more years. My family life is so messed up now more than ever. I tried to avoid it for so long its just unavoidable now.

Life really needs a reset button. Any way Have a Happy New Year!!

  • Happy Holidays!!

And Merry Christmas to all who aren't politically correct.

Today begins my winter break. And hopefully tomorrow will be my first day with a driver's licence.Woot!! Probably will not be able to update until January 2 or 3 because that's when I'll be returning to UC.

Yesterday I got to ride with Ben on a quest for empty parking lots and fresh powder. Hehe. His '86 Subaru station wagon had 4 wheel drive and we had a blast in 4 parking lots. LOL. At the end his car was smoking and we had to stop and cool down. I think it may have been the breaks. We only hope no security cameras caught us in the acts.

    Happy New Year!!

A sense of duty is useful in work, but offensive in personal relations. People wish to be liked, not be endured with patient resignation.

  • Quote of the Day

<t-f-i> An officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve was attending a conference that included admirals from both the U.S. Navy and the French Navy. At a cocktail reception, he found himself in a small group that included personnel from both navies.

<t-f-i> The French Admiral started complaining that whereas Europeans learned many languages, Americans learned only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we have to speak English in these conferences rather than you speak French?"

<t-f-i> Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied: "Maybe it is because the Brits, Canadians, Aussies, and Americans arranged it so you would not have to speak German." The group became silent.
